I had the opportunity to review the Layers clothing line. This clothing line offers a large collection of clothing including, swimwear shapewear, and blouses. Not only is their clothing stylish, but more importantly most of it is very modest. I know seems to be a theme with me. It is so difficult to find quality and modest clothing, and my goal is that these reviews would help myself and my readers in this quest.
Since it is summer I reviewed the Clementine Mango and burgundy floral print halter tankini. This is a fashionable suit that fits well and offers great coverage! The quality of the fabric is exceptional. This brightly colored orange, yellow and burgundy halter tankini top is totally stylish and unique. The drawstring neckline offers modesty and comfort. The elastic band hits just at the bra line creates light support. In addition, the front is fully lined and comes with removable bra pads. The suit becomes more loose fitting around the torso and waist concealing my less than toned abdomen. The umpire cut draws the focus to the smallest circumference, then flows out, resulting in a very flattering look and fit.
The fully lined bottom is a great complement to the top and offers coverage and comfort. Rarely can you find bottoms that are both flattering and conservative. This suit accomplishes both. The waist band has the same pattern as the tank top, creating an illusion of an even longer torso. Additionally, it folds over, providing even more tummy control.
I think great addition to this suit would be a "floating underwire" for more support. However, overall this suit gets a thumbs up and I if it portrays the quality of the rest of the Layers clothing line I would be happy to reccomend all of their clothing.
